The set is finished in Exotic Birdseye Maple with a lacquer finish.
*The snare was not part of the original set and was added by myself as Gary kept his snare at the end of the tour.
This stunning drum set was formally owned by Pink Floyd and used by Gary Wallis on 'The Division Bell' World Tour of 1994. It is also featured on their stunning 'P.U.L.S.E' dvd that also contained the only official release by the band of a full performance of 1974's Dark Side of the Moon.
Only two kits were ever made, both for Pink Floyd with the second played on the tour and owned to this day by Nick Mason.
I have conducted extensive research into these drums having had the opportunity to discuss the sets not only with the Pink Floyd road crew, but Nick Mason himself.
I've met Nick and number of times over the years and have also previously worked as his drum tech and sampled his drums for a software release.
